1998 dyna wide glide harley davidson 95th anniversary bike serial number 1482 of 1998 i am getting ready to move out of state on a job transfer and need to reduce my number of harleys from 4 down to 2. Questions call - 469-396-3230, leave message! This bike is ready to ride anywhere anytime. According to the previous owner of this bike, i am the 3rd owner. The bike was always garage kept and it shows! For those who may not know, harley davidson celebrated the company’s 95th anniversary in 1998. They made 1998 of all the models with special paint and 95th anniversary badges. This dyna wide glide is burgundy wine pearl and sandy pearl. As near as i can tell the seat is the original ‘king queen’ style seat that was stock on these bikes. Back rest has 1 small area on the right side that i covered up a small area along the edge with electrical tape about 1” long. Other than that, the seat shows normal signs of wear. The bike has the 95th anniversary badges on the side of the fuel tank and at the top of the ignition switch dash board. The serial number of this bike is located there 1482 of 1998. The 1340 evo motor in this bike is strong and loud. Bike has ~ 30,000 miles. The speedometer works but the odometer led is blurred except for the last couple of digits. Exhaust pipes are over and under 2 ¼” longshot style drag pipes, loud is an understatement!! The dyna has been lowered ~3 inches front and rear – it has progressive shocks on the rear. Dyna has ‘winged’ style front and rear pegs also, has the dyna small luggage rack behind the sissy bar. The short aftermarket windshield is a wind vest brand clear and is in like new condition. 13” ape hangersnew black nylon handlebar riser bushings new battery was installed in august 2016. New front tire, tube and liner – rear tire has over 50% of its life left. New mikuni carb and aftermarket oil breather system. The choke on this carb works (i accidentally broke the plastic retainer) i had to tie wrap it to the bracket that holds it on the left side of the bike. These cables are cheap and easy to replace on the mikuni carbs. Fresh fluids with ~ 100 miles on them: schaeffer full synthetic motor oil 20-50wred line primary synthetic fluidred line synthetic transmission fluidthis dyna has no oil leaks!! Clear arkansas title!
